6.  “INNOCENT”

“INNOCENT”的一般意思是：無辜、無罪、清白、單純

例如：

(i)       The killing of “innocents” is inexcusable. 

濫殺“無辜”是不可寬恕的。

(ii)     He is confident that the judge will declare him “innocent”. 

他確信法官會宣告他“無罪”。

(iii)   We believe he is “innocent”. 

我們相信他是“清白”的。

(iv)    He seemed so “young and innocent”. 

他看起來如此“少不更事”。

在法律語言中，“innocent”的意思是：

無意

The law is in connection with “innocent” misrepresentations.

該法例與“無意”的失實陳述有關。

(2)

無心

He made the mistake through an “innocent oversight”.

他所犯的錯是 “無心之失”。

(3)

不知情

The property is purchased by an “innocent” third party.

該財產是由一名“不知情”的第三者購入。
